1. What first attracted you to Evoenergy?
I was excited to apply for Evoenergy because I really wanted to work in the energy industry and help to provide an essential service to the Canberra community. I had also heard about the good work-life balance at Evoenergy.
2. What has been your career path since joining?
My career path at Evoenergy has been enjoyable and varied, due to interesting rotations during my graduate program. I have been able to grow as an engineer and develop key skills, from working in different teams across the business. I have worked in Major Projects (project management), Primary Assets (asset management), Protection (team management, scheduling, and program delivery), and my current team, Zone Substations (engineering design and configuration).
3. What’s the most exciting part of your role?
The most exciting part of my role is that I am constantly learning, in the office and out in the field. I am currently involved in projects which utilise IEC 61850 technologies to upgrade our zone substations into next generation digital substations.
4. Why would you recommend Evoenergy?
The graduate program at Evoenergy was a very rewarding and nurturing experience. I recommend Evoenergy because of the great people and the challenging and meaningful work.
