Storm response update | Sunday 10 December 5 PM
Our crews have continued storm repair works today and by this evening should have a further 250 customers restored.
This will leave around 40 single premises requiring individual repairs who we aim to have restored by tomorrow. New outages today in Downer, Kambah and Weetangera will be made safe and repairs will take place tomorrow. Crews from NSW distributors are also assisting us with our response to get everyone back on as quickly and safely as possible.
If you have a damaged point of attachment or other internal electrical faults you will need to engage a private electrician to fix these before our crews can reconnect you to the grid. Our crews will let you know if this is the case if they can, however we recommend checking your point of attachment (where the electricity network connects to your home). Once your electrician has completed the works required, please call us on 13 10 93 so we can arrange to reconnect you to the grid.
We apologise for the disruption and thank you for your patience as we work hard to restore power safely and as quickly as possible.
If you see fallen powerlines or damaged electrical equipment – stay at least 10 metres away from them or anything they’re touching – including fences. If you’re unsure if they’ve been reported, call us on 13 10 93.
