What to do if you see a damaged utility asset
Damaged utility assets are a safety hazard, especially during storm season. Focus On Safety – if you encounter gas or electricity equipment which looks like it may be broken it is important you remain safe and notify Evoenergy.
Damaged equipment includes:
Open or damaged substation doors
Covers removed from mini pillars
Damaged electricity poles and wires
Bent or broken gas meter pipes
To prevent fallen tree branches causing unplanned outages, please keep your trees at least 1.5 meters away from all powerlines.
Report any damaged or unsecured equipment to us on the emergencies and faults numbers.
