We deliver a number of non-accredited, network related training courses. These courses include:
- Evoenergy Electrical Safety Rules (ESR) covering how to apply the Electricity Supply Industry (ESI) safety rules, codes of practice and procedures for work on or near electrical apparatus, and access procedures to work on or near electrical network infrastructure
- Service and Installation Rules
Upcoming courses and enrolment
We’re focussed on keeping the power safe and reliable as we respond to COVID-19. As a result, all Electrical Safety Rules and Service and Installation Rules classes scheduled until 1 May 2020 have been cancelled.
For many of you, these courses are critical to your business operation. To minimise impact, we have granted the following extensions for training that expires between 1 March 2020 and 31 August 2020.
Electrical Safety Rules —12 month extension
Service and Installation Rules —3 month extension
The Evoenergy Operational Learning Solutions (EOLS) team are implementing short-term measures while continuing to source and develop longer-term solutions that can be introduced as required. These solutions comply with the guidance and advice from the ACT Government, Evoenergy Safe Working Guide and where possible, are consistent with the broader industry.
Over the coming weeks, the EOLS team will contact all businesses with staff enrolled in cancelled classes and arrange for them to complete the redesigned Electrical Safety Rules and Service and Installation Rules courses. Those who were enrolled in cancelled classes will be rebooked into new sessions as a priority, then we will release a schedule for new enrolments.
We appreciate your patience while we work on alternative training options and we will provide further updates as information becomes available.
