Planned outages update

20 Nov 2019

Due to the higher temperature forecast and the total fireban declared, we’ve carefully reviewed all planned works. We must balance the health and wellbeing of staff and the community with the need to conduct critical maintenance to ensure the network remains safe and reliable. We have postponed works in MacGregor, Melba and Kingston and are in the process of notifying customers, however a small number of essential works will continue. Our crews will be working as quickly and safely as possible and get the power back to minimise interruption and inconvenience to customers. As it is a total fire ban day, our crews will also need to conduct additional patrols in the event of any unplanned outages. Thank for your patience and also thanks to the Evoenergy crews who work around the clock to ensure the ACT energy network remains one of the most reliable in Australia.
