Terms and Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions apply to the 2020 Winter Gas Rewards cash back offer (“Offer”).

1. Information on how to participate in this Offer forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. This Offer is not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
2. These Terms and Conditions apply to the offer of $200, $300 or $500, fulfilled by either a Winter Gas Rewards VISA prepaid card (“VISA prepaid card”)  or Direct Bank Transfer, when Eligible Individuals satisfy the requirements outlined in these Terms and Conditions.  The VISA prepaid card can be used as a prepaid card anywhere VISA cards are accepted at point-of-sale.
3. The Promoter is Jemena Networks (ACT) Pty Ltd (ABN 24 008 552 663) and Icon Distribution Investments Limited (ABN 83 073 025 224) t/as Evoenergy (ABN 76 670 568 688).
4. The VISA prepaid card is issued by iGODirect Group Pty Ltd ABN 17 110 897 320. Terms and conditions apply, visit https://naturalgascashback.com.au/act/ for details.
5. As a condition of claiming a VISA prepaid card or Direct Bank Transfer , each Eligible Individual must accept the card terms and conditions of iGODirect Group Pty Ltd.
6. This Offer consists of the following Winter Gas Rewards:

a) one (1) $500 VISA  prepaid card OR $500 Direct Bank Transfer when an Eligible Individual purchases and installs a natural gas whole-of-home ducted system with 5 or 6 star energy efficiency rating, or a gas powered hydronic heating system, between 1 April 2020 and 30 September 2020; or
b) one (1) $500  VISA  prepaid card OR $500 Direct Bank Transfer when an Eligible Individual purchases and installs a natural gas 5 or 6 star high efficiency ducted unit, or a gas powered hydronic heating system, as a replacement for an old whole-of-house ducted gas unit between 1 April 2020 and 30 September 2020;
or
c) one (1) $200 VISA prepaid card OR $200 Direct Bank Transfer when an Eligible Individual purchases and installs a flued gas heater as a replacement for a current non-gas heater between 1 April 2020 and 30 September 2020; or
d) one (1) $200 VISA prepaid card OR $200 Direct Bank Transfer when an Eligible Individual purchases and installs a flued gas heater between 1 April 2020 and 30 September 2020; or
e) ^one (1) $300 VISA  prepaid card OR $300 Direct Bank Transfer when an Eligible Individual purchases and installs a new natural gas hot water appliance as a replacement of an existing non-gas hot water system or as a replacement for a current natural gas hot water appliance between 1 April 2020 and 30 September 2020.

7. This Offer is available to residential customers aged 18 years or over only and who live within the Evoenergy gas networks region in ACT/NSW and satisfy the purchase/installation requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions (Eligible Individual).
8. ^Residents of Nowra NSW can claim a $300 VISA prepaid card OR $300 Direct Bank Transfer when an Eligible Individual purchases and installs a new natural gas hot water appliance as a replacement of an existing non-gas hot water system between 1 April 2020 and 30 September 2020.
9. Eligible purchases must take place between 1 April 2020 and 31 August 2020 for Natural Gas hot water, ducted heating and flued heating (Eligible Gas Heating Appliance) and the installation must take place by 30 September 2020. Online claim forms must be submitted by 5pm on 31 October 2020 (Offer Period).
Claim forms will not be accepted after 5pm on 31 October 2020. This includes all re-submissions or previously rejected claims. 
10. The Eligible Gas Heating Appliance must be installed at a residential address within the Evoenergy gas networks region. 
11. Individuals who make a purchase/installation of whole-of-home ducted systems for government projects, new homes, commercial projects, property developments will be ineligible to participate or claim. Claims will not be accepted on back-ordered or forward-ordered products or inability of the approved gas specialist to undertake the installation within the Offer Period for any reason. 
12. A maximum of two (2) VISA prepaid cards OR Direct Bank Transfers per residence will be provided unless the Promoter, at its sole discretion, decides to increase the maximum per residence. 
13. The Winter Gas Rewards claims are limited to the first 900 claims received or until the expiry of the Offer Period (whichever occurs first). 
14. Once an approved gas specialist has installed the whole-of-home ducted system, the gas specialist will then assist the individual by providing a copy of the completed Gas Compliance Certificate and a copy of the Sales Invoice (or receipt of purchase). If needed, they will also assist the individual in claiming via the Promoter’s online claims process. Claims are to be lodged via gasrewards.com.au 
15. Once the installation of the Eligible Gas Heating Appliance is complete, in order to claim a VISA prepaid card or Direct Bank Transfer, Eligible Individuals must go to gasrewards.com.au and log on and complete and submit the online claim form by 5pm on 31 October 2020. 
16. The Eligible Individual will need to submit the following in/with the online claim form: the gas meter number, installer business name, old and new appliance details (i.e. details of old heater and new heater), a copy of the Gas Compliance Certificate and a copy of the Sales Invoice (receipt of purchase) as proof of purchase. Customers will also be required to elect whether to fulfil via a VISA prepaid card or of EFT payment (a Direct Bank Transfer requiring an Australian bank account BSB and Account Number). Claims will be reviewed and customers will be contacted to confirm the claim. Upon submitting a valid claim form, the Eligible Individual will receive their claim amount via their elected fulfilment method: an EFT payment (a Direct Bank Transfer requiring an Australian bank account BSB and Account Number) OR a VISA prepaid card in the post to the nominated installation address, within 15 working days. To activate the VISA  prepaid card once it is received, the individual must phone 1800 427 608 or go to https://naturalgascashback.com.au/act/
17. Once the installation of the Eligible Gas Hot Water Appliance is complete, in order to  claim a VISA prepaid card or Direct Bank Transfer, Eligible Individuals must log on to www.evoenergy.com.au/gasrewards and complete and submit the online claim form by 5pm on 31 October 2020. The Eligible Individual will need to submit the following in/with the online claim form: the campaign number (this will be provided by the Gas Specialist), meter number, installer business name, old and new appliance details (i.e. details of old heater and new heater), a copy of the Gas Compliance Certificate and a copy of the Sales Invoice (receipt of purchase) as proof of purchase. Customers will also be required to elect whether to fulfil via a VISA prepaid card or of EFT payment (a Direct Bank Transfer requiring an Australian bank account BSB and Account Number).  Claims will be reviewed and customers will be contacted to confirm the claim. 18. Eligible Individuals acknowledge and agree that the Promoter has no control over the process time for the VISA prepaid cards to be activated and that activation may take longer than the expected timeframe.
19. Winter Gas Rewards VISA prepaid cards include GST.
20. The Promoter will not be responsible to the individual for non-activated VISA prepaid cards or expired cards.
21. The Promoter will post the VISA prepaid card to the installation address provided on the online claim form. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for VISA prepaid cards not received.
22. Customers will be disqualified from this Offer if they fail to comply with any of the specified Terms and Conditions. By making a claim, all individuals agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
23. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct this Offer and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers and reward suppliers. Claims are conditional on providing this information. The Promoter is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). The Promoter’s full privacy policy can be viewed at https://www.evoenergy.com.au/legal/privacy-policy. All claims become the property of the Promoter.
24. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims and individuals (including an individual’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any individual who submits a claim that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the claim process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
25. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
26. If for any reason an Eligible Individual does not claim their VISA prepaid card or Direct Bank Transfer during the Offer Period, their eligibility for a VISA prepaid card or Direct Bank Transfer will be forfeited. The VISA prepaid card must be activated by the expiry date shown on the card. VISA prepaid cards will not be activated after their expiry date.
27. If a VISA prepaid card or Direct Bank Transfer is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute a substitute reward to equal value.
28. If this Offer is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as anticipated by the Promoter due to any cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any individual; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Offer, as appropriate.
29. Any cost associated with accessing the Promoter’s website and participating in this Offer is the individual’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
30. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). 
31. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in reward value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by an individual; or (f) use/taking of/redemption of a reward.
